Hunter accidentally shoots, kills nephew

A man is not expected to face charges in the accidental shooting death of his nephew during a hunting trip Tuesday near Shaver Lake, the Fresno County Sheriff's Office said today.
Na Moua, 49, and his 36-year-old nephew, Thee Moua, both of Fresno, were hunting Tuesday afternoon in an area near Highway 168 and Pederson Road when they became separated and continued to hunt.
Sheriff's detectives believe that Thee Moua unknowingly moved into the area where his uncle was hunting when he was shot.
After the shooting, Na Moua walked about an hour to a home where he call authorities. He met deputies and led them into a remote area where the shooting happened several miles southeast of Shaver Lake.
The investigation is continuing, though the shooting appears to be an accident, the Sheriff's Office said.
